November has been quite beautiful… but I haven’t actually been doing much photography! Neither the landscape and art side nor the commercial side has been particularly busy, and I am not quite sure why!
But plans are afoot! I have taken another couple of rolls of film to add to my stash today, some Ilford Ortho and some CineStill XX, as I continue on my quest to settle on a film stock for my portfolio and panel building plans. I now need some time to get out and shoot some more! I can’t believe that I still have some Delta 100 in the Fuji that hasn’t been finished yet (there may be only 1 or 2 frames left mind), and some Formopan in the rangefinder still to finish. I have one roll of 120 ready to process locked tightly away in a box too. My usual plan of a Thursday session may be possibly this coming week so I am keeping an eye on that – work has just been too bitty this month to have enough “me” time to either shoot or process!
I am building on plans for 2026 now though too, and also looking forward to the colder months with some dramatic weather. For now, thought, it is raining… and tonight is the RNLI Crew Christmas Dinner so I need to get myself ready for that!
Fingers crossed for a more productive December! There is a lot going on just now that has the potential to build into a really exciting year to come.
