I have started off with a small selection of limited edition prints available for sale on the site. This was the easy part… now I need to start generating traffic!

It has been a bit of a slog to get everything working as it should. I am using a “print on demand” service to supply the final product for these digital offerings, this should make the whole process run smoothly whilst keeping quality high. I had a test print from them some time ago so I know that the output is where I want it to be!

For the film based work I have not decided on the end process as yet. My thoughts are to have them printed locally in Inverness, and then framed here with the signed negative in a window under the print. These are going to be strictly one-offs as a result! Marketing this kind of piece is going to be tricky too, if I thought that normal print sales were hard this will be off the charts! But it will be something unique and special so I think it will be worth it!

Otherwise all is quiet! I am trying to get used to the 617 Panoramic camera, it is rather a mountain to climb! I took 3 frames today before realising that I had left the dark slide in. Then the release nubbin fell off somewhere so I have had to improvise (and emailed the manufacturer to see if they can send me a few extras!) If they can’t help then I will just have to create something myself using a machine screw and some ingenuity!

I also designed a new logo which I think reflects me and what I am doing perfectly!
