This week we have been away down south, one of the reasons… I had a panel of landscape photographs up for judgement for a qualification with the British Institute of Professional Photography.

I succeeded in gaining my Licentiateship, and feel that I could have done better – there were a couple of misinterpretations of the rules by myself… and some possibly less than ideal photographs selected. The ones that did well… and if all had been similar may have pushed me to a higher award… were my typical moody shots taken in “bad” weather! The picture postcard stuff was less appreciated by the judges, to be honest it is less appreciated by me to!

So next steps are to build on this and start looking at Universities as well as building my next panel to hopefully launch me to greater heights!
