It is starting to become apparent that my approach to landscape photography isn’t entirely “standard”. I don’t often use ultra wide angle lenses (those are for architecture and interiors) prefering a mix of 24mm and short telephoto lengths.

This realisation is good, it is allowing me to hone in on a style that marks out my work – I would stick to a single focal length but I think two are probably the realistic minimum, one wide(ish) and one somewhere around the 80-100mm mark to take those more intimate views. I am also starting to refine my aspect ratios down to 6×12

Today I was shooting Loch Ness on the way home and enjoying the moody, atmospheric, view with both the Z6II and the DaYi panoramic camera employed. It was a really special place to while away some time.
