The week before last we set off from home for a short holiday on the Small Isles. We rented a 1930’s prefab on the Isle of Muck to be our home for the week and set off to explore this tiny, but fascinating, island.

That and take a much-needed break!

What we found was archaeology, natural history, and when the weather behaved, some beautiful vistas. I haven’t quite caught up with myself entirely as yet, but I wanted to share a few images from the island with you here. Some may eventually make it to print and be available here, but for the moment I just want to share!

Speaking of print, movement in this respect is slowly happening. I have made the decision to move most of this work to analogue photography, or that is the intention anyway! This is going to be quite a learning curve, particularly as I will be working in a different format to that which I grew up with! It is really exciting, though and I can’t wait to get started – and to share it all with you, as mentioned in the last post!
